Tutt Bryant Equipment in early 2012 introduced a Technician Mobility solution providing Field Service Technicians with mobile tablets to execute their job tasks when onsite. The technology offers technicians the ability to receive jobs and have them consigned by the customer on the spot, along with immediate access to vast technical reference information at their fingertips.
Forming a partnership with Retriever Communications, all Field Technicians will be fully equipped with a Motion F5t rugged tablet PC. The Tablet provides technicians with paperless job task confirmation and on-the-spot access to support documents, service and parts manuals, original equipment manufacturer (OEM) computer access/diagnostic programs as well as WHS&E documentation. Another feature is the mobile technology also extends to branch and National Head Office where technicians can coordinate in a “live” environment with in office support staff for efficient troubleshooting when required.
The new tablets are expected to increase the level of technician efficiency and job support allowing Tutt Bryant Equipment to focus on customer’s requirements.
